Isodieta or Isodiet

Brugos is a nutritionist who has developed the thesis that the current principles of nutrition are wrong and should be changed. He explains this in a book called “Isodieta”.

The main mistake, according to Brugos, is to consider the carbohydrates as nutrients, when they are just fuel which if not spent becomes fat and therefore deals to obesity. They are empty calories and not part of our cells.

He recommends fewer fruits and vegetables and more protein preparations that he sells.

Isodieta is very similar to others low carb diets (with the same problems as the others) and is, in our opinion, another miracle diet or fad diet.

We also recommend to low the refined carbohydrates intake, but inside a balanced diet as the Mediterranean Diet.
